Personal Biography
Firestorm was born in San Diego, California and went to school at Dana High.
She always wanted to go to space and would often be caught daydreaming about it.
After graduation she joined University to study Space Administration and to do a
Master's in Aeronautical Engineering.
Starfleet sent around representatives to various University's looking for recruits
into their new Academy.
Her family were not amused when she informed them that she had joined Starfleet.
As far as they were concerned Starfleet was not a career for a female.
As far as Firestorm was concerned it was a perfect opportunity to finally have her dream.
Unfortunately she had a problem.
She found that her intelligence got her into trouble a great deal.
She found that some of the students did not like her and dubbed her a "know-it-all".
She spent her time trying to stay out of their way.
She befriended those in the same interest groups she had like science and debating.
Unfortunately she could see on the cards that if she didn't take up some training in
martial arts soon enough - she or her friends were going to get hurt.
Shortly after she received her 2nd Dan, an altercation from one of the bullies at the
Academy resulted in her collecting a slice across her left cheek which she refused
to have removed.
Instead she kept it as a reminder that she was different from others.
It gave her character.
